I'm pleased to announce the new BLUF blog section of the site.
Why does BLUF need a blog when we already have a magazine section on the site? Well, the main reason is that it allows us to share some of that material, if we want, with a wider public.
So, for example, if we wanted to share comments about the leather scene, and get feedback from people who aren't already BLUF members, we don't really have a place to do it. The new Blog section of the site makes that much simpler.
You can comment on articles using the Disqus commenting system, so anyone who already uses Disqus elsewhere, or has a Twitter or Facebook account, will be able to comment on posts, whereas the existing forum we run is private and restricted only to BLUF members.
And by making some extra information available to people who aren't yet members, I hope we'll be able to make BLUF look like a more welcoming site to those who are thinking of joining us.
We're not going to bombard you with dozens of articles - there are many sites like Leatherati which can do a far better job of publishing much more information than we have time to do, but I hope that at least some people find the things we're planning to be share useful.
